# Create deal package

`deal_packages.create`

Create an empty, unpublished deal package. Then read its config and edit its profile and offerings. Does not publish, select a default, move existing deals or assign a channel. Reuse client_request_id only for the identical request; use separate IDs for each package when splitting a package.

Availability depends on live discovery and your access to the record. Do not infer MCP calls from REST paths.
