# Edit financing terms

`deals.update_terms`

Patch any supplied financing terms; omitted fields stay unchanged. Read deals.get_terms first for expected_revision. Currency applies to all financing amounts and does not convert values. Equipment entries replace the complete list when supplied; preserve rows you want to keep, and use [] to clear. Omitted row fields are cleared. This does not submit or fund an application. Null clears nullable fields. An identical retry does not apply the edit again and returns the current visible terms, which may include later edits.
