# Activate, deactivate, or discard custom domains

`management_groups.change_domain_lifecycle`

Perform one confirmed custom-domain lifecycle action. Activate only after refresh reports both addresses verified; deactivate preserves setup for later reuse; discard removes only an unactivated replacement draft and leaves current live addresses unchanged. Read branding immediately first.
