# Manage projects stages

`projects.update_stage_configuration`

Save the complete ordered project stage list using projects.get_stage_configuration’s revision and stage IDs. New stages use active or closed category_key. At least one active stage must remain. A stage with a deletion_blocker must remain. This does not move records or change application statuses. Only perform the administrator's requested changes.
