# Update workspace settings

`provider_settings.update`

Update your Portal's company details, unlocked theme colors, client-portal options, or notifications. Read provider_settings.get first and pass expected_revision. Choose current teammates for notification recipient emails. For shared branding and custom domains, start with management_groups.get_branding when available to your account. Reuse client_request_id only for an identical retry.

Availability depends on live discovery and your access to the record. Do not infer MCP calls from REST paths.
